A Palm Springs wedding at the Alcazar Hotel, planned and designed by Kerri Hatter of LVL Events. Local wedding professionals contributing to the effort were Cake – Exquisite Desserts and Classic Party Rentals. Event Design by Keith Laverty Floral, and The Lynden Lane Company. Photography by Sergeant Creative.
If you know anything about the wedding industry in Southern California then you have heard about LVL Events. One of their principal planners is Kerri Hatter. Kerri started her career in event planning over 20 years ago, but found her true passion for planning when she got married in 2004. Having been a bride herself she understands everything the bride and groom are feeling and knows how difficult it can be to handle all the details and keep everyone happy at the same time!
Kerri’s easy going personality immediately puts her clients at ease and her almost obsession with organization keeps them on track.
Before merging her company with the LVL Team, Kerri owned her own wedding planning company for 8 years and her work has been featured in publications such as Wedding Chicks, Style Unveiled, The Wedding Yentas, Wedding Channel Wedding of the Day and Wedding Planner Magazine. She has also been awarded the Wedding Wire’s Bride Choice Award from 2010 – 2013 and the ABC OC Trendsetter Award 2012 for best transformation of space.
Kerri is the active President and Member of the board of Association of Bridal Consultants – Orange County (ABC-OC).
Her innovative thinking and passion to help everyone she meets prompted Kerri to create The Wedding Workshop where she hopes to teach every couple how to navigate through their wedding planning.
In her spare time, you will find Kerri spending time with her husband and children. She keeps a wish list book with a goal of trying almost anything at least once in her life and given the choice, she would eat Mexican food for every meal.
The Alcazar Hotel is a hidden gem, they explain a little bit about the force behind this unique hotel this way. “FOUNDATION 10 CREATIVE is a collective of individuals bundled together by owner, local creative, cook and restaurateur Tara Lazar. We create experiences from the things that inspires us: food, drink, art, music and design. Our eclectic interests and taste are what make us unique, and it’s that uniqueness that we hope to bring to you.
It all started with CHEEKY’S homemade breakfast, made the way we like it. Who knew it would be the way you like it too?! We buy it local, make it from scratch, and don’t make too much of a fuss about it. Simple, fresh and delicious.
Our name FOUNDATION 10 comes from the address of CHEEKY’S – the foundation where it all started. That address number is 622 (6 + 2 + 2 = 10) – combine that with the fact that the number “10” is our lucky number, and you have “F10″!
Just like you, our family is made up of foodies, non-foodies, young creatives, old school traditionalist, jet setters, homebodies, Palm Springs natives and urban dwellers. Some of us are vegan and others don’t eat anything green at all. This diversity inspires us to create experiences we think you’ll appreciate, and also hope will inspire you.”
